Christmas Bauble Gift Tags

I've been obsessed with my recent Concord and 9th order! I've made heaps of cards and some gift tags and I have some to share now. The bauble from the recent Christmas release is fantastic and it is so big that it fills up a card nicely. PTI November Blog Hop

Here is my last minute entry for this month's PTI Blog Hop. I was almost not going to submit as I do not have a lot of PTI Christmas stamps. 3 Days Til Christmas

It's present wrapping time! I've been merrily wrapping away and realised that I did not have enough gift tags for all the presents, I was actually 16 tags short! So off on a tangent and I spent last night doing tags. I decided to personalise them by adding the recipient's initial on the front (this makes it easy for me too to pick out their presents from under our tree). 6 Days Til Christmas!

The night before, I stayed up late to finish off 40 place cards for a work Christmas function and presents for work friends. It was worth it, as I got them all done and they were all given out yesterday. I like to share the little bags of chocolates I made up. As I work in the laboratory, I got a test tube of jelly beans from Happy Lab for each bag. I thought it was most appropriate! I also made reindeer tag cards for the bags. Thanks for dropping by!

12 Days til Christmas

Hooray! Our Christmas cards are done! They will be all posted tomorrow! I had to make a few gift tags tonight for a couple of presents for the weekend.  I decided to use my new Paper smooches die and the Merry Motifs stamps and die set. I combined them with a bit of Washi tape. As my blog followers know, I don't like to make the same design over and over. So I came up with three different tags. Here they are. TGIF the 13th!

15 Days til Christmas

My aim this week is to get all the Christmas cards out. My annual newsletter is done, just need the final OK before printing. All the address labels are done, so guess what we are doing on Wednesday and Thursday nights? I can't tonight as I'm attending an annual work Christmas Party Trivia Night. It's going to be the battle between different Pathology Laboratories. Wish us luck as we definitely need it! The competition is tough! I decided to do a special feminine tag for Ellen Hutson's The Classroom's annual 12 Tags of Christmas with a feminine twist challenge. My tag is inspired by Julie Ebersole. I used papers from Basic Grey's 25th and Pine. The wood veneer and sequins was given to me by lovely Lyndal Higgins when we had lunch last week. As Lyndal loves Paper Smooches, it was a no-brainer to use my new PS Merry Motifs stamp set (which came as a free gift with my last order). I'm also adding this tag to Ribbon Carousel's Challenge 88 - Anything Goes and CAS-ual Fridays CFC 122 - Out on a Limb. Here is my tag, thanks for dropping by!

20 Days til Christmas

This is the fifth post in my series of daily blogs until Christmas. I made these tags using the beautiful patterned papers from the St Nicholas collection from Kaisercraft. Very quick to do, just die cut the tags, ink with Tim Holtz Gathered Twigs, Spray with Perfect Pearls, stamp with gold ink and smear with a bit of gold distress paint. Finish off with some pretty ribbons, sequins or rhinestones. I'm looking forward to a catch up tomorrow with fellow Melbournian Bloggers - Jenny, Lyndal, Michelle and Chupa (I'm going to be surrounded by so much talent!)

PapertreyInk October Blog Hop 2 - Mehndi Tags

I usually don't make a lot of tags except during Christmas. The ones I made last year were quick and fast and done when I'm about to wrap all the gifts. The PTI October Blog Hop has pushed me to get mine done early this year! I usually decide on a colour scheme for my Christmas wrappings and the rest just fall into place. The tags I made would be suitable for plain white, red or kraft paper with a bit of natural or red twine or ribbon. I made these tags by inking up my new Mega Mehndi stamp for the first time (I just love the detailing on the stamp) before die cutting the tag! Oops, I made 6 tags again due to the fact I used three colours and wanted to try them on two different card stock. Here are my tags and thanks for stopping by!

PapertreyInk October Blog Hop 1 - Chalkboard Tags

I don't think the chalkboard craze is over yet... well not with me anyway! I couldn't resist inking up these stamps for the first time on black! Well, I had to try a red card, so I ended up with 6 tags instead of 5.
