Wine label card 4

Another wine label card to add to my collection. I've made a series of these cards and each one is slightly different. I've made this using distress inks on water colour paper, wetting just the watercolour paper and not the wine label. Love this effect! Wine Label Cards 3

This is my third post on the lovely French wine labels I won from Jacqueline. I've done altogether 6 cards using the labels, each of them done differently. These two are stamped with Paper Smooches Reflections, one card is for a male and the other a female. Some more French wines!

I was so lucky to be  the recipient of a stash of French wine labels from Jacqueline. She has made some beautiful cards with wine labels and the labels are so exquisite! I've already blogged one card I made and here are two more that I have made with these labels. They have all gone to my wine appreciating friends!!
Did anyone see that I got Top 3 in Addicted to CAS Gold challenge? This card was originally made for a publication call but was not picked up and then I sent it to Jacqueline to thank her for the labels!!

My first wine label card

When I first joined the Hero Arts Flickr group two years ago, I was amazed with the talented ladies in the group. I also loved Jacqueline's cards and her unique wine label cards. I was lucky enough recently to be a recipient of some of these French wine labels and could not wait to ink them up. After a bit of thought and planning (I really wanted the label to be the 'hero' of the card), this is what I came up with. This was made with a bit of fun and not for any challenge at all! I hope I did the wine label justice! I still have a few more to play with! The stamps and inks I used are listed below.
