18 Days Til Christmas

This is my 6th daily blog of Christmas inspirations. I have this one made a while ago for a publication call based on a sketch. I used my favourite Basic Grey Aspen Frost paper for this card using mainly offcuts. Added a few touches with stickles, sequins, ribbon and rhinestones to complete the card. Too easy! I'm submitting this card to Basic Grey's Challenge 109 - Happy Christmas.

I had a lovely lunch yesterday with a few Melbourne Blogging friends. Originally, I met up with Jenny earlier this year and then a few months later we met up again joined by Lyndal. Yesterday, we had Chupa from CASE Study Challenge and Michelle (DT from A Blog Named Hero) joined us. Well, we had so much to chat about that I almost forgot the time and was rushing to my next appointment! Lyndal gave us each one of the cards she made with some extra goodies inside, I was very lucky to receive this card! We want to meet again, but next time, we want to spend a few hours crafting together. That would be so awesome!

Back with the fourth card of daily Christmas cards and inspirations blogs up until Christmas day. This one is using my one of my favourite items in my stash - Washi Tapes! There is no stamping in this card at all! Now I have some washi trees for another card….

Back with my sixth blog of the daily Christmas blogs. This one was made with Kaisercraft's St Nicholas 12x12 collection and a Recollectables Die Cut. No stamping involved here, just some die cutting with the pretty papers and sponging with distress ink! I'm adding this card to Die Cut Diva's December Challenge. Thanks for dropping by!

20 Days til Christmas

This is the fifth post in my series of daily blogs until Christmas. I made these tags using the beautiful patterned papers from the St Nicholas collection from Kaisercraft. Very quick to do, just die cut the tags, ink with Tim Holtz Gathered Twigs, Spray with Perfect Pearls, stamp with gold ink and smear with a bit of gold distress paint. Finish off with some pretty ribbons, sequins or rhinestones. I'm looking forward to a catch up tomorrow with fellow Melbournian Bloggers - Jenny, Lyndal, Michelle and Chupa (I'm going to be surrounded by so much talent!)

22 Days Til Christmas

I couldn't resist the recent CASE study posted last week and wanted to do a Christmas theme. Two weekends ago, I went to the local Newsagent and bought a copy of Australian Simply Cards as they had a lovely stamp set included. When I got home, I realised that I had left it behind on the supermarket trolley. No luck in getting it back, so I got another copy last weekend. This card is made with the lovely bauble stamps. Christmas card day 2 - This is a very simple card using lots of die cuts. My newest acquisition is the Lil Inkers Stitched Squares, so easy to use when you are in a hurry! No more crooked squares! I based this design on the current retro sketch #92.

25 Days Til Christmas - Day 1

Well, I am way behind this year with Christmas cards. So to get myself going, I plan to do daily blogs from the 1st until the 25th of December of Christmas cards, projects and inspirations. The first one for December is one I made last night using one of my favourite Hero Arts stamps and my favourite PP from last year, Basic Grey's Aspen Frost (I still have a pad left).
