W&W 2nd Birthday Challenge - 5

Here are two more cards for the Winnie and Walter 2nd Birthday Bash Challenges. The first card is for the Over the Edge challenge with Kelly and the Create a background challenge with Gayatri. I've positioned the 'Happy' sentiment off the edge of the banner. I'm also submitting the first card to Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge - Anything Goes.

The second card uses the confetti die cuts and some sentiment cutaway dies. I'm adding these for the following challenges:
- Inlaid technique with Mayuri

W&W 2nd Birthday Bash Challenge - 4

Here is the other card which was done at the same time as the previous card. I decided to use gold embossing on water colour paper and coloured the card the same way as the previous one but with more control this time. I used my Gansai Tambi paints for this card.
I'm submitting the card for the following challenges:
Winnie and Walter 2nd Birthday Challenges
- Gold and watercolour with Heather H
- Floral challenge with Lydia
- Background with Gayatri
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes.
Here is the card and thank you for dropping by!

W&W 2nd Birthday Bash Challenges - 3

Am I having some fun with the Winnie and Walter Second Birthday Bash Challenges! After not having much time to craft over the last 3 weeks, I'm sure making up for it! This card started off with 2 water colour pieces which became 3 and eventually ended up on three cards! This is the first card for the following challenges:
Fusion Card Challenge - sketch only
W&W 2nd Birthday Challenge - Gold and Watercolour with Heather
W&W 2nd Birthday Challenge - Floral challenge with Lydia
The stamps are from Winnie and Walter, the dies are from MFT and the coloured card is from Hero Arts. Thanks for dropping by!

W&W 2nd Birthday Challenges - 2

I've got another card to share for the Winnie and Walter 2nd Birthday Bash for the background challenge with Gayatri and the Inlaid challenge with Mayuri.  I've used the balloons from The Party Stampset to create the background. The word 'Happy' was then die cut and inlaid with a plain card. I'm also adding this card to Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes. Thanks for dropping by!

W&W 2nd Birthday Challenges

I would like to share a masculine 21st card I made inspired by Mayuri over at the Winnie and Walter's Belated 2nd Birthday Bash Challenge. Mayuri's card is here and this is my interpretation.... The distress colours I used were Peacock Feathers, Mowed Lawn and Mermaid Lagoon. The die cuts are from W&W, MFT and Lil Inkers. The sentiments are from W&W and Paper Smooches. I'm also adding this card to Shay's Two Challenge (21) and CASology's Distress challenge. Thanks for dropping by!

PTI February Blog Hop

This is a really quick card I made for the PTI February Blog Hop. The stampset is called Fashion Sense and it is the first time I've inked it up. I was going to make a wedding card, but couldn't resist one of the sentiments with the set. Thanks for dropping by!

Emboss resist watercolour

Again, I have been inspired by Jennifer McGuire to try this emboss resist watercolour technique. I've used a Hero Arts Scallop Flower (S5363) wood block stamp for this technique as I need solid stamped spaces for this to work. The distress inks I've used here are Candied Apple, Picked Raspberry and Wilted Violet. After embossing and applying a water wash, I decided to use more Wilted Violet on the background to make the image stand out more. The sentiment is from Hero Arts. Thank you for dropping by!

Baby Lea

I have a baby card to share. This is for a baby born 3 days ago. As the baby was born in the Year of the Monkey, it was most appropriate to add the Mama Elephant monkey to the card. The Game Tiles are from Simon Says Stamp, the sentiment from Lawn Fawn and the stripes from PTI. The coloured inks are from Hero Arts. I'm adding this card to the current CAS(E) This Sketch and A Blog Named Hero challenges. Thanks for dropping by!

Masculine 50th

It's been a while since my last post! I've really been busy with Chinese New Year performances around Melbourne and we are into our third week of almost daily performances as schools, restaurants, offices, shopping centres and corporate functions. I've made a quick card this morning for a 50th birthday using the current CTS sketch and stamps from Hero Arts. The background colours I've used are Peacock Feathers and Chipped Sapphire and the sentiment was embossed with HA silver EP. Thanks for dropping by, I'm looking forward to getting my fingers inky again very soon!

Happy Wedding Day

I started making this card a few weeks ago after being (yet again) inspired by Jennifer McGuire. She shared a technique whereby a stencil was sprayed over a Distress Inked background to create a two-toned effect. I used Abandoned Coral and Perfect Pearls mist to create the background (Tim Holtz Doily Layering Stencil). The rest were from the Hero Arts Happy Stamp and Cut kit. I'm adding this to the A Bit of Sparkle challenge at A Blog Named Hero. Thanks for dropping by!
