Runway Inspired #92 Giles
When I saw the photo inspiration on Runway Inspired Challenge this week, I knew exactly what I wanted to do. The stamp I used is from Hero Arts/Basic Grey (one of my favourites) stamped onto watercolour paper and painted with Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolour paints. I left the background unpainted so that it is like the photo. I added the sentiment and also some coloured sequins to the card. Nowadays I tend to start off with two cards, just in case one of them does not work out. Both worked out fine and I had two cards made at the same time!

Another 80th Birthday card
This one is for an Uncle's 80th birthday. I've used lots of different size stars cut out from MME PP and created a background with them. The '80' has three layers glued together before being adhered on top of the stars background. I'm adding this to three challenges:
- Card Design Superstar
- MFT Sketch Challenge
- Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Die Crazy Challenge

Casing Jennifer McGuire
I saw this great technique Jennifer was using last week to which looked so simple and yet effective. I wanted to give it a go. I've used Hero Arts coloured cardstock and HA Midtone ink to create the background. I then sponged the middle with HA Unicorn white pigment ink. I initially tried stamping the sentiment in black and then tried heat embossing, prefer the latter! I'm adding this to A Blog Named Hero's Happy Challenge and Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge - Love this technique. Thanks for dropping by!

RIC#91
This is another masculine card for some of the male birthdays in my family this month! This card was inspired by the colours of the latest Runway Inspired challenge. As I have used a geometric pattern, I'm also adding this to Virginia View's Challenge. Thanks for dropping by!

Baby Lennox
I have a cute baby card to share. One of my staff at work just had a baby 5 weeks early on the weekend! We were supposed to have a farewell morning tea for her this Friday! Oh well, when the baby wants to come out, it will come out!! After a busy weekend with overseas relatives in town and Father's Day yesterday, I got around to making this card before going to bed last night. I've decided to add it to Paper Smooches Anything Goes Challenge. I've also knitted (it's been a long time since I've done any baby knitting) a pair of bootees and hat for baby Lennox.

Masculine CAS card
I've just been away for a quick trip overseas and I'm running out of time to get all the September birthday cards done ... especially the masculine ones! This is a really quick card done with a bit of masking, stamping and sponging with distress ink and some die cutting. I've based this card on the current CAS(E) this sketch challenge. Thanks for dropping by!

Hydrangea Card - Take 2
When I returned to my Craft Table, there were extra stamped images of the hydrangea on water colour paper. As I recently purchased some Zig Clean Colour water markers, I wanted to give them a trial run. I didn't pre-wet the paper. I just brushed on the two colours and then wiped over with a wet brush. I couldn't believe how easy this was! I decided to fussy cut the image. The background was a bit of trial and error. I tried sponging with distress inks first and was not happy with the result. So I got out the Ranger Texture paste instead. Oh, I was inspired by the current Runway Inspired Challenge - Monique Lhuillier and I'm also adding this to A Blog Named Hero's current challenge - As Clean and Simple as can be and last but not least, Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes! Oh, another challenge - A2z Sccrapbooking Embossing challenge
