Casing Jennifer McGuire
I saw this great technique Jennifer was using last week to which looked so simple and yet effective. I wanted to give it a go. I've used Hero Arts coloured cardstock and HA Midtone ink to create the background. I then sponged the middle with HA Unicorn white pigment ink. I initially tried stamping the sentiment in black and then tried heat embossing, prefer the latter! I'm adding this to A Blog Named Hero's Happy Challenge and Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge - Love this technique. Thanks for dropping by!

love your card in the orange tones, Cecilia - saw Jennifer's idea too and thought it was so clever - makes a very simple and pretty card!
ReplyDeletesimply gorgeous Cecilia. It is a super technique which you've aced!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous technique and you've really done it justice here! I think it's so brilliant to make the center have a cleaner area to stamp on by giving it that bit of white. It looks really great! I like the colors that you chose and those lovely loopy flowers look stunning with the flowy script you chose. You did an incredible job here and I'm so glad you shared this piece with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
