Challenge me a Christmas Card with Michelle Lupton and friends

My Crafty friend Michelle Lupton has asked me to join her again this year with Challenge me a Christmas Card with Michelle Lupton and Friends. The challenge I set for her was to create a ‘Baubles’ card. She sent me a gorgeous bauble card last year.
Here is my card using a bauble die and patterned paper. It was a really quick and simple card to make. Pop over to Michelle’s blog to check out her creation! I can't wait to create more cards with the new Kaisercraft collection! Thanks for popping by!

Winter Rose Love

I'm back with a couple of cards I made recently. I massed produced this by stamping out all the roses first in various colours and then fussy cutting them out. I then stamped the background leaves before adhering onto the card with a bit of glitter tape on the edge. They were so quick to put together and I've already sent away four of them! Thanks for dropping by!

Distress Oxide Background

I have a few distress oxide background cards to share. As most of my crafty friends know, I often make more than one card in the one sitting. It just makes it easier with all the materials out on the table! I blended three colours on each card taking care not to leave finger smudges on them, sprayed them with Perfect Pearls. I then added white die cuts to the card and a bit of stamping. These were quite easy to make and the effect is striking! Thanks for dropping by!

Farewell card for Sue

I have a watercolour card to share. A long time friend at work just retired last week after 43 years of service! I made this A4 sized card on the one night as we had just over a week to collect signatures and messages from staff at work. I decided to use the largest flower bouquet I have from Simon Says Stamp and heat embossed with Altenew Rose Gold powder. The flowers and background with coloured with Zig markers and distress ink. The photos I took were with my phone camera as I was in a rush to get to work the next morning! Thanks for dropping by!

Wedding in Malaysia

I'm back to share a card I made for a wedding I went to in Malaysia. The groom is a son of good friends of ours. I decided to use diecuts in white, gold and vellum to compose a cluster of two flowers, on a background with sprays of gold and iridescent inks. Thanks for dropping by!

Mother’s Day Card 2

Another card I made for the Altenew May inspiration challenge. The background was made using embossing paste and the flower was fussy cut and added with dimensional foam. Some splatters of white paint were added to complete the card! I’m also adding this to SImon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge  - For a Special Lady.
Happy Mother’s Day!!

Mother's Day Card 1

I'm back with a couple of quick Mother's Day cards made from the one set of die cuts from Altenew. I prefer to use the A6 card size and most coverplates come in the American size which is a bit wider and shorter and does not fit into the A6 envelopes. So I decided to cut this die cut down and made two cards with them instead! I’m adding this to Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - For a Special Lady. Thanks for dropping by!

Materials:
Dies - Altenew Layered Floral Cover Die A & B
Stamp - Hero Arts

Always there

It’s been a while since I’ve crafted. I recently attended an Altenew workshop in Melbourne with Tasnim and Therese! Yes, it was in Melbourne!! I purchased this set whilst I was there. The inks were part of a set that was given to us as part of the workshop. I based the card on the current CAS(E) this sketch challenge (there are three score lines behind the flowers which is hard to photograph). Thanks for dropping by!

First Post for 2019!

It’s been a really busy and crazy two months for me and I’m so glad to finally find time and energy to make a couple of cards. As all my followers know, I usually make at least two cards every time I have to make one. Why not? When you have all the materials out! I’ve decided to use the current CAS(E) this Sketch sketch and the wonderful Washi tapes from Altenew to make these cards. So they were quick to make!
