Another wedding card

I have another wedding card to share using a combination of Altenew and Hero Arts stamps. There was a fair bit of trial and error with the sentiment as I wanted to emboss it. So I tried stamp-emboss-diecut, emboss-diecut and finally diecut-emboss (with the diet in place). I glued the sentiment to a strip of vellum, I really like how it overhangs the strip. I'm adding this card to the current Fusion Card Challenge - Soft and Subtle and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge - Anything Goes.  Thanks for dropping by!

Materials used:
Stamps - Altenew Peony Bouquet
Dies - Lil Inkers stitched rectangles, Hero Arts Congrats Stamp and Cut
Embossing Folder - Sizzix
Inks - Altenew
Rest - Ranger Platinum EP, Versamark

A wedding card

I have a wedding card to share using the current Muse challenge. The background rectangle was dry embossed and edged with embossing powder. The stamps are from Altenew. I stamped a heap of these flowers and leaves one night and it saved me a lot of time when I had 4 wedding cards to make in one weekend! I'm also adding this to Virginia's View Challenge - #24 Focal Point. Thanks for dropping by!

Materials used:
Dies and EF - Sizzix, Altenew
Stamps and inks - Altenew
Others - Ranger Platinum EP, Versamark

A bit of Geometrics

The current A Blog Named Hero Challenge had me stumped as to how I should tackle the 'Geometric' challenge. I do not have any geometric shaped stamps and so the next best thing to do is to use the square dies and create triangles out of them! Here is a masculine CAS card with some patterned papers from my stash. The sentiment was layered with foam to give it a bit of dimension. I've loosely based the design on the current CAS(E) this Sketch challenge. Thanks for dropping by!

Materials used for this card:
Stamp and die - Hero Arts Happy Stamp and Cut

85th Birthday Card

I have a masculine 85th birthday card to share. This was made for my FIL using stamps from Winnie and Walter. The background was stamped with a combination of four colours and then I added some splatters with silver paint. The 'Happy 85' was die cut from glitter foam (makes it so easy!) and the 'Birthday' was stamped. I also added some sponging to the edges of the card. I'm adding this to the current Winnie and Walter WCMD Challenge - Background Buiding with Shay. It has been a crazy week and I'm way behind in my card making!! I still have a couple of wedding cards to make before I go overseas in two weeks!!

Materials used:
Stamps - Winnie and Walter The Party and Big Bold & Party, Papersmooches Digits
Dies - Winnie and Walter and MFT Dienamics Large Numbers
Inks - Versafine, Hero Arts Green Hills, Navy, Soft Granite and Pool, Tim Holtz Distress Ink Broken China
Paints - Kuretake Gansai Tambi

Baby Boy!

This is a quick card I made for a baby born last weekend. Quick because I had the image pre-stamped and cut earlier. I used some washi tapes to a strip of cardstock and adhered the strip and the Panda onto the card. The sentiment was diecut from glitter foam. The design is based on the current CAS(E) this sketch.

What I used to make this card:
Card - Neenah Solar White
Washi - MT Tapes
Dies and Stamps - Hero Arts Stamp and Cut Congrats, Mama Elephant Pandamonium
