Back again with a couple of cards I made from the current Hero Arts
June sketches. It is so good to combine one of them with a challenge from A Blog Named Hero (
colours challenge). The first card is pretty straight forward and easy. I made a second one with the same sketch as I wasn't too happy with the washi tapes I used for the first one. I only used one tape in this one as I wanted to feature some of the colours in the patterned papers from BG Picadilly.
The second card is a also from the HA June sketches. I spent a bit of time with this picking out the papers and then decided to add a bit of stamping, washi tape and fussy cut a flower from the BG Plumeria paper. This one will be submitted for the Embellish
Collage Colour Trends challenge. Details of the two cards and the challenge details are below.
I will not be posting anything until next week as I will be going to Brisbane on Friday to attend Tim Holtz's Workshop and the
Brisbane Scrapbook and Papercraft Expo on the weekend. I will write a blog when I get back. I will be posting on twitter if you want to see what I get up to. Looking forward to a crafty weekend in sunny Queensland! Thanks for dropping by!
