Asian Wedding Dolls

I got out my Hero Arts Asian Dolls stamps for a play today. I used the sketch from Cardabilities and the Basic Grey True Love collection (perfect for an Asian wedding card). Here is my lovely couple dressed in BG True Love! I mixed up stamps from 3 different companies, just for a bit of a change and also because they fell in quite nicely together. I'm also submitting this to Simon Says Stamp's Celebrate challenge. By the way, has anyone seen the August issue of Cards magazine? You can find my sketch card on page 68. Now that the August issue is out, I guess I can show my card from the July issue. I'll do that tomorrow.
Thanks for dropping by!

Mr and Mrs

I've had a really great crafting weekend this weekend, the creative juices are still running! I made 2 more cards last night for a publication submission and submitted them way before the due date (this is a record for me)! I had so much fun doing them last night that I forgot I was going to do one for the Papertrey Ink May Blog Hop this weekend and it is due in less than 3 hours! Yikes! So first thing this morning, before a shower or breakfast, I made this card with a cup of tea by my side! I also based the sketch on the current Fusion challenge. Thanks for dropping by... I'm off to have breakfast and a shower!

This is my third entry to Paper Crafts Gallery Idol 2013 (only 3 allowed per person). I needed to make an 18th birthday card for my niece and was waiting for my new Paper Smooches stamp set to arrive. It came yesterday and I made this card last night. I love the quirky numbers! I also received a prize that I won from Scraps of Me's Blog Candy Giveaway last month. I used the embossing folder from my prize on the white cardstock. Thanks Paula! The little heart (although hard to see from the photo) was covered with glossy accents. I can see more cards coming up with numbers!!

Happy Valentine's Day!

I've been MIA lately due to my heavy commitment with Chinese New Year activities. I would just like to share a quick card I made for Valentine's Day using Basic Grey's True Love collection and MFT alphabet die cuts. I also have some good news to share, I got another publication acceptance from Cards magazine (July2013 issue) for a wedding card I made. Getting that off to the Post Office tomorrow!

I would like to share a photo of our Chinese lion taken at a shopping centre during Chinese New Year celebrations and Valentine's Day. We still have a lot of performances over the next few days before I settle back to a normal routine!

I received a prize from BG when I ordered a warehouse clearance parcel last year. I received the 12x12 papers, some chipboard alphabets, embellishments and a chipboard album last week. Ingredients:
Cardstock - Neenah
Paper - Basic Grey True Love
Stamps - Darkroom Door Numbers, Hero Arts Find Joy
Ink - Hero Arts Wet Cement and Royal Red
