Vintage Floral Fusion

When I saw the challenge photo on the recent Fusion Challenge, I pulled out an all time favourite collection from My Minds Eye - The Sweetest Thing. The patterns are just perfect! This is one of my favourite collections and I have used up half of the pad, the rest of the left over pieces are all kept...  for that special card! Very little stamping went into this card (WPlus9 sentiment) but lots of dies from MFT and PTI to put this beauty together! I'm also adding this to Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Anything Goes Challenge. Thanks for dropping by!

A Birthday Card

I decided to use my very neglected patterned paper and did not go near my watercolour paper tonight! This PP is one of my favourites and every scrap is saved as I love all the patterns in this MME The Sweetest Thing which I've had forever and use very sparingly!! I was inspired by Lizzie's Make It Monday #210 - Using vellum to soften patterned paper. I decided to use also use the PTI Doodlie Doo stamp set to stamp a patterned vellum with white EP. Here is my card which was very quick to put together! I've also used this week's Retro Sketch #162. Thanks for dropping by!

Chinese Wedding card with MME

I love making wedding cards for Asian weddings. I have used this pair of stamps over and over again ever since I bought it 3 years ago! This is for a wedding I'm in Malaysia this week using My Minds Eyes The Sweetest Thing. I'm adding this to the MME May Challenge - use enamel dots in a creative way. Thanks for dropping by.

Two Wedding Cards

Here are a couple of wedding cards that I have made that I have not posted yet. One is for an Asian couple and the other an Aussie couple, so both are quite different. For the Asian couple, I used my favourite Hero Arts Asian Dolls (these were my first HA stamps) and this time, I tried colouring their faces for the very first time. I usually use cream card stock so that I don't have to colour their faces.

The second card was made a while ago for a publication submission. This was made by stamping the rose on three different pattened papers and pieced together afterwards. I just love this rose stamp and I have made a few cards with this stamp. It's World Cardmaking day today, but I've been too busy with household duties to make any cards. I am enjoying all the beautiful cards posted today on all the Blog Hops around the world! Happy WCMD everyone!!
