Musing Anita Bowden

When I saw Anita Bowden's card in the current Muse Challenge, it reminded me of a technique I had not used for quite a while. I inked up random spots on the card with distress inks Scattered Straw and Abandon Coral before embossing with some flowers. I then inked up the spaces between the flowers with Peeled paint and added more embossed flowers and leaves before revealing them with the last layer of Wilted Violet and Seedless Preserve. Birthday card for Lauren

I have a CAS card to share using embossing with distress inks. This one took three goes before I got it right!. I stuck the first card upside down and tore the card when I tried to remove it!!

April Inspiration

I've been dying to ink up my latest Altenew hoard! When I saw the April Inspiration challenge, I wanted to use the Adore You flowers. I combined some Copic colouring with traditional stamping in this card and it is loosely based on this week's CAS(E) this Sketch and I'm also adding this to Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes.
