Background Sentiment Stamping

This is one of my favourite techniques as I have tried it a few times in the past. I was inspired by the Make it Monday Challenge to make this card using an old PTI stampset.  I just love this sentiment! It was a great weekend for me finding time to make a few cards! Thanks for dropping by!

Materials:
Stamps: PTI Happiness in Bloom
Ink:Altenew Frosty Pink, Cotton Candy, Coral Berry and Grapevine, PTI Simply Charteuse
Dies: PPP Stitched Inside Scallop

Clean and Simple White Card

This card was made inspired by PTI Make It Monday #209 - White on White. This was an easy card to make, all white on white with one flower highlighted. I love the look of it and could not resist adding this unsual sentiment to it using my favourite EP from Ranger. The flower die cuts and stampset are from PTI Happiness in Bloom and the sentiment also from PTI. I also added pink wink of stella to the flower and a sequin. Now, I'll have to find the right person to give this card to! Thanks for dropping by!

Confetti Blossom Heart

I managed to squeeze in a quick wedding card this weekend. Posting this blog just before I head off to bed (sorry about the poor lighting!). This card is for the following combination of challenges, their inspiration photos are below:

- Papertrey Ink Make it Monday Confetti Cluster stamping (Technique)
- Fusion Card Challenge Floral Fusion (Colours)

Colourful Card Corner

This is my late entry for the Papertrey Ink Make It Monday #196 - Colourful Card Corners. I followed Danielle's video, but used distress inks (Tattered Rose, Picked Raspberry, Seedless Preserve, Bundled Sage and Mowed Lawn) instead as I don't have a big range of PTI dye inks. Here is my card, the card corner is flipped to the bottom (accidentally placed the stamp the wrong way up). I used a combination of three PTI stamp sets for this card, and I'm not sick of water colouring yet! Thanks for dropping by!

Something New!

When I got my latest haul last week, I couldn't wait to ink up my new Alt&New stamp set! I wanted to use the sketch from CAS(E) this sketch #85 BY N Ali, and the colours from Runway Inspired challenge #64 - Bottega Venetta Resort 2015. Of course the card had to be CAS and took no time to make, great for a busy person like me! Thanks for dropping by!
Edited to add:
This card was the winning card on Runway Inspired Challenge #64!

It feels so good to be able to participate in the PTI monthly blog hop again after a very busy month last month. The theme for February is Spring which is perfect for a few wedding cards I need to make. I've made two for the Blog Hop and here is the first one.

Inspired by Jennifer McGuire

Jennifer McGuire showed this really cool technique on her blog a few weeks ago. I have a few wedding cards to make, so I thought I would give it a go. The biggest sentiment I have belongs to a PTI stampset Big Wishes which I have used over and over again and it was just perfect for this technique. I initially embossed in white on white card.... well it didn't look that good... so I switched to silver EP and Voila, here is my card! The deckled edges are also embossed. I'm going to be off the blogging radar for a little while as I'm going overseas and then coming back for Chinese New Year. I'm involved in a lot of Chinese community events over the two weeks of Chinese New Year, so I will try and get to my craft room whenever I can.

Neenah Solar white, PTI Big Wishes, Lovely Layers and Happiness in Blooms, Versamark, Hero Arts Bubblegum, Passionflower, Soft Granite, Green Hills and Pool, Memento Luxe Dandelion, Pearls from Kaisercraft and decorative ribbon.

Anniversary Card

I have an anniversary card to share made using the borders framing Dawn showed on PTI Make it Monday. When I first saw her card, I thought to myself that I would need to draw pencil lines to make everything square up, and then I watched her video… so I decided to make it the way she did, without any markings on the card.  I'm also linking up this card to Simon Says Stamp Wednesday - Anything Goes Challenge. Thanks for dropping by, believe it or not, this is my 245th post! Need to do a giveaway for the 250th post!!

Ingredients:
Neenah Solar White and Desert Storm, PTI Think Big Favourites, Boutique Borders: Birthday and Happiness in Bloom, Hero Arts Red tomato, Cup O'Joe and Field Greens.
