Some vintage cards

I was inspired to use the current Retro Sketch to make a Christmas card. I ended up making 4 cards using the same patterned paper (MME Vintage Christmas) and MT Washi tape. The background stamp is from Hero Arts and the sentiment stamp is from Simon Says Stamp. These were quick and fun to make!

Runway Inspired Card

I'm back with a card inspired by the photo on Runway Inspired Challenge - Marchesa Notte and the current Retro Sketch #188. For this card, I've only used Perfect Pearls powder - Blue Patina and Pewter after stamping with Versamark. It was very hard to photograph to capture the pearly effect of the Perfect Pearls. The stamps are from Hero Arts - oldies but still my favourites! Thanks for dropping by!

Retro Sketch 166

I'm back after a short holiday overseas. I've had to make a card on the weekend I got back for a baby girl.  I decided to use the current Retro Sketch #166 and combined it with some lovely paper from Kaisercraft Procelain Rose. I'm also adding this to Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes. The stamp sets are from Mama Elephant, Darkroom Door and Hero Arts.

A Birthday Card

I decided to use my very neglected patterned paper and did not go near my watercolour paper tonight! This PP is one of my favourites and every scrap is saved as I love all the patterns in this MME The Sweetest Thing which I've had forever and use very sparingly!! I was inspired by Lizzie's Make It Monday #210 - Using vellum to soften patterned paper. I decided to use also use the PTI Doodlie Doo stamp set to stamp a patterned vellum with white EP. Wedding Pandas

Everytime I have to make a wedding card, I always get my ME Pandamonium stampset out. I based the card on this week's Retro sketch and used distressed inks for the water coloured background. Using my MISTI tool a lot nowadays and I tend to make two cards at the same time, that way I always have a spare card. Thanks for dropping by!

Confetti Blossom Heart

I chose distress inks Wild Honey, Spiced Marmalade and Ripe Persimmon to make up this beautiful background. I then used my Winnie and Walter star stencil with the Ranger Texture paste to make the starry background. The die cut and sentiment are both Winnie and Walter.

Christmas Trees

I'm adding another Christmas card to my very small stack of cards so far! This is for a few challenges. The design is based on the current Retro Sketch #141, the inspiration is from Muse Challenge #101 (Marion Vagg) , the concept is for the Moxie Fab World Challenge - Tree-mendous Trees and since I'm using a Simon Says Stamp die, I'm adding this to the Flickr Group Challenge#6. So nice to be able combine so many challenges into the one card! The stamp set is an old one from Hero Arts and the sentiment and die is from Simon Says Stamp. Thanks for dropping by!

A quick card for two challenges. I don't know why I had to make a card in the last hour and submit when I have lots of other things to do today. But I loved it!! Masculine Birthday card

This is my first card I made since I got back from holidays yesterday! It's a quick one made with left-over scraps using the current Retro Sketch #119. I'm also linking this up to Virginia's View Challenge -  Tags and Scraplings and the Catered Crop Manly Man Recipe Swap challenge. I start my new job tomorrow, wish me luck!!

A Card for Mum

This card is made with the current Retro Sketch and the Runway Inspired photo. I used Basic Grey products for this card with Simon Says Stamp stamp set. A little bit of washi tape and sequins finished off the card nicely. This is a birthday/Mother's Day card for my Mum as her birthday is on Mother's day eve! I'm blogging from Bright in country Victoria, 4 hours drive from Melbourne. I came up with Jenny M and Lyndal yesterday and met up with Joy, Chupa, Debbie, Teresa, Suzanne, Debbie and Angelique. Jenny D came up today and Michelle will join us tomorrow! Here is my first card made using Joy's Simon Say Stamps supplies!

Violet Crush

Man, have I been busy with orders lately! So I have to keep the creative juices flowing! Here is another 21st album for a client. The client's brief was vintage with purple and dragon flies. Too easy? Well, it didn't take me long to find the perfect Kaisercraft collection for this - Violet Crush. The rest was too easy, although I had to order some dragonfly stamps as I didn't have any. Here is the album and the matching card I made with this week's Retro Sketch. This album is on the way to Queensland right now, hope Taleah likes it!
