Father's Day Card

I just got back from overseas and found out that my watercolour Blossoms card won a Catered Crop Garden Recipe Swap challenge! I was invited to participate in the next challenge as a guest designer (another first for me!) Here is my card for the Manly Man Recipe Swap. Father's Day Card

It's a public holiday for Queen's Birthday today (it's been a productive crafting weekend). After doing a Vintage 21st album, I'm in the mood for CAS cards. I just submitted 5 cards to the latest Papercrafts Card Creations for Men publication call! So while I'm in this masculine mode, I decided to make this very quick and easy Father's Day card. The colours and the design is drawn from the latest Runway Inspired challenge (photo below). Father's Day Card

I nearly forgot about Father's Day this Sunday. I have quite a few birthdays in the next two months and wanted to make sure I have made enough cards!. When deciding on colours for this card, I went straight to BG Little Black Dress - the patterns are just perfect for a man. I have more male birthday cards to make for September, so you will see variations of the same colours! I also wanted to use the opportunity to use my new Hero Arts envelope liner stamp purchased when it was discounted two weeks ago. Love this stamp (it has been on my wishlist for a while now) and love it even more that I got it when it was on special! Thanks for dropping by!
