91st Billowing Peonies Card

It's a special celebration for my Mother's 91st birthday on Sunday. So the grand lady deserves a very special card. I used the bigger stamp from the Altenew Billowing Peonies stamp set and used colours from the April Inspiration challenge. The size of the card is A6. I have used vellum for the sentiment and clear 3M mounting tape to secure it. I'm happy with the way it looks, although it was quite hard to peel off the release tape!

Altenew January Inspiration Challenge

Since it was a public holiday in Australia on Monday (a long weekend), I've had time to make a few cards whist I have the stampset out from participating in Michelle's workshop on Saturday. I used the Altenew Inspiration January Challenge for the colour choice, blending red and purple to get the same colours in the photo. Whilst I was at it, I decided to do one with just shades of purples (my MIL's favourite colour!)

AECP Workshop with Handmade by Michelle

I would like to thank Michelle Lupton (Handmade by Michelle) for inspiring to make some rainbow cards for her Altenew Educator Certification Program. I used a different stampset as I have recently made a huge purchase during Christmas. I have cards that I made on her workshop below. It was fun joining in online and craft along! CASE me a Christmas Card 2025 Blog Hop

 I'm most excited to join this year's CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit) me a Christmas Card with my crafty friend Michelle Lupton and friends. The format this year is slightly different to previous years as anyone can join in by making a Christmas card inspired by any card made by designers participating in the hop. This year, I was inspired by this card from Emily Midgett - Sixth Street Sundries. 

I don't have a dark brown card stock and decided to use a green card stock instead. I was inspired by the bright colours against the dark background and decided to use some old dies in my stash - some of these may no longer be available as I've had a them for quite a number of years. They get to feature every now and then! It was easy to put together as I'm really into simple cards that are easy to mass produce during this busy time of the year! Case me a Christmas Card 2024 with Michelle Lupton

It's been a long hiatus since my last post! So excited to be joining Michelle Lupton again with her Case me A Christmas Card series. Michelle is the queen of alcohol inks and I wanted to do a Christmas themed design and I picked this card that she blogged in September this year (image below). I experimented with two types of paper and decided to use the Yupo paper as that produced the most brilliant colours. Here is Michelle's CASE for my one of my cards! Thanks for stopping by!

Billowing Peonies

When I saw this new Altenew set, it was hard to resist the temptation to 'Add to Cart'! When the set arrived, I fell in love with how beautiful the whole bundle was! I spent a whole rainy Saturday to stamp and colour these beautiful peonies. The first card was based on the current Altenew June Inspiration Challenge. I had a lot of fun lining up the stencils, but not too difficult to do. One of these is off to a very special friend who is not too well at moment, hope she likes it! Case Me A Christmas Card 2022

I'm excited to be invited again by Michelle Lupton to join along with her Case me a Christmas Card series. It's always fun to pick one of Michelle's cards to case. I picked this card that she blogged in August this year - I love the simplicity of this card and adapted it for Christmas. I'd actually made 6 versions of this card in the one session!  I have a few cards to share using the Altenew Frozen Delights ink pads. I found the perfect stamp, using the back of the stamp to create coloured blocks and overstamped with the leafy patterns. I tried different combination of colours to create these cards. Thank you for dropping by!

CASE me a Christmas Card with Michelle Lupton

Hello! It's nearly that time of the year again! I'm happy to join my crafty friend Michelle Lupton for her annual Christmas challenge again. I've cased this card (photo below). I masked off a strip and coloured with Distress Oxides and stamped with a background stamp inked with white ink. Once dried, the embossing was inked on top!

Get Wild with Washi 2021

I'm so excited when this contest was announced as I was one of the winners last year - blogged here. I used a newly acquired Altenew Washi tape for this challenge after seeing Lydia used it on a live feed two weeks ago. I was initially going to use some Washi flowers for the card but ended up using this flower that I stamped a while ago (I usually stamp a bunch to use for quick cards). I also used a new 3D embossing folder for this - I love the embossing on the washi tape! Here's my entry to the challenge and I'm also adding this to this week's Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge. Christmas 2021 - 1

Yay! Finally! My first Christmas Card for 2021. It's been really slow for me this this year as I'm very busy with work and also doing a Certificate for Health Informatician course at the same time - nearly there now! Here is one that I've made a bunch one night on a break from studying. I just love using stencils nowadays for quick cards. More to come later as I get bored making the same cards over and over again!
